Last weekend of April symbolically unlocks Slovak Hill Climb season. Itinerary of Hill Climb Championship will have 12 stops not only at Slovakia, but also in Austria, Czech Republic, Poland and for the first time the fight for seconds will also be in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The calendar is varied and will culminate in the half of September at hill Ostrá Lúka. Among the dozens of hills , which will distribute points in the rolling sequence of Championship, is also Jahodná in Kosice, where the end of May (30.5. -1.6) will carry 6th edition of the MORIS CUP JAHODNÁ.

Organizers of event over which the patronage is held by the Mayor of the City Košice - Richard Rasi are Auto Club Kosice and company Moris Slovakia s.r.o.

The event will this year be again part of the FIA Historic Hill Climb Championship (HHCC). FIA decision was done at beginning of the season in 2014 on the merge of the European Cup and Internacional Hill Climb Challenge in a single classification called the FIA Internacional Hill Climb Cup (IHCC), while both of the above series drivers will have revised program of the scrutineering, trainings and heats. Dense program awaits participants in two national championships - Slovak Championship (MSR as the 6th and 7th race) and Championship of Poland (GSMP as 3rd and 4th race). Given the experience of previous years, when demand of drivers exceeded track troughput as well as smaller spaces in the service park of Sports and recreational resort Jahodná, organizers had to apply the unpopular step and reduce the number of competitors. Therefore the part of MORIS CUP Jahodná will not be the Slovak Hill Climb Cup.

On the event website www.rallye.sk/pav are for several days published Supplementary Regulations of the event and thus it is possible to sign up for the competition by completing an electronic application that is located at SAMS www.prihlaska-sams.sk. Deadline is Friday 23 May 24.00 .

Races will be held near the City of Kosice - at 4,750 meter long track, which is often used in the past as part of a special stage Jahodná (Bankov) - Rally Košice. The track runs along the national road II/547, start is located 750 m after turn to Alpinka at the exit of the town towards Gelnica - Margecany, at parking in front of the Alpinka resort. Finish is located about 1,000 m before turn to Jahodná resort. Start is at an altitude of 399 m.a.s.l., finish at 538 m.a.s.l., altitude difference of 139 m, the minimum width of 7 m and average pitch of 4.18 % .
